Snowmass Monumental Sliding Glass Door Installation

We have a residential customer in Snowmass, CO that we installed about $25,000.00 worth of Velux VSE skylights in their home.

This particular customer is remodeling the entire house and needed someone to help them with opening up the exterior walls in the kitchen, dining  and bedroom areas. Our first look was for a Nanawall System, which is an accordion-type door that creates one big opening when open. This met their needs at first, but after thinking it through they realized that when the doors were closed they would not give the view they wanted.

So through more research we found a company in Ft Collins, CO that manufactures over-sized sliding glass doors, called Point Five Windows. These doors that we will install this spring are going to be 14' wide by 8' tall. Each movable panel will be 7' wide by 8' tall. We will be installing a total of six doors that will give unbelievable views of the ski slope and the mountains.
