Glare from Skylights or Windows

Normally skylights do not put glare into a room like a vertical window does. However, there are situations when you may get glare onto a video screen, which makes it difficult to see what is on the monitor or television.

The solution is either install sunscreen on the exterior of the skylight or to install a shade (cellular, Venetian blind, roller blind) on the interior, or to replace the glazing with a translucent type material. It could be white acrylic or white laminate glass or fiberglass.
